The Effect of Machining Technology on the Wear Resistance of Capron Bearings,

Abstract

Results are presented from a study of the effect that the rolling of capron bearings has on their wear resistance. A specific scheme for machining ball bearing bushings by rolling is outlined. An increase in wear resistance, precision class, and cleanness of the working surface of capron bushings machined by the rolling method was noted. (Author)
