Accuracy Improvement of the Digital Computer Function Routine.
Abstract
A method of increasing the accuracies of the mathematical function routines is presented. The improvement is accomplished by modifying the coefficients of the approximating functions used by the routines. The improved results are shown for three approximating functions taken from the IBM 360 library function manual. (Author)
