On the Determination of the 'Closeness' to Complete Readiness and of Dynamic Readiness

Abstract

Two techniques for the measurement of readiness are discussed: the 'closeness' to complete readiness and dynamic readiness. The former is a measurement of the amount of time and effort required to achieve some prespecified level of complete readiness while the latter is a readiness measure which describes the ability of a unit to continue to perform in a satisfactory manner during the entire mission.
