An Analysis of the Attitudes of Black Urban Youth Toward Military Service

Abstract

Because of the possibility of all-volunteer United States armed forces as well as the domestic disturbances of our time an inquiry has been made about the attitudes of urban black youths toward military service. A questionnaire survey was conducted at seven high schools in Annapolis and Baltimore, Maryland, in 1971. The results of this questionnaire survey and reported and discussed.
