Comparison of Photon Interaction Cross Section Data Sets. IV. Kaman and ENDF/B,
Abstract
Photon cross section data from the current Kaman compilation (KN-71-431(R), 7/31/71 by Veigele, et al), covering the energy range 0.1 keV to 1 MeV for all elements Z = 1 to 94, are compared with corresponding data contained in the ENDF/B data set (1 keV to 100 MeV for 87 elements Z = 1 to 94). This comparison is presented in the form of percent differences between the two data sets, with the ENDF/B taken as the reference set. These differences for total, scattering (coherent and incoherent) and photoeffect cross sections are tabulated for 87 elements with Z = 1 - 83, 86, 90, 92 and 94 at 24 energies from 1 keV to 1 MeV.
