The Effect of Friction and External Environment on the Fatigue Strength of Steel,

Abstract

A study was made of the effect of the specific pressure and the presence of a lubricant on the fatigue strength of a pearlitic, ferritic medium C steel in conditions of simultaneous friction and freritic medium C steel in conditions of simultaneous friction and alternating stress. (Author)
