Optical Absorption of Gallium Selenide (GaSe) and Gallium Telluride (GaTe) Single Crystals and Solid Solutions Based on Them,

Abstract

The effect of an external electric field on the absorption spectra of GaSe, GaTe, and their alloys GeSe(x)Te(1-x)(x=0.0 to 1.0) in the exciton region was studied at 20.4 to 300K as a function of the alloy composition and the electric field strength E = 3,000 to 54,000 V/cm. (Author)
