The Calculation of Reinforced-Concrete Frames on the Effect of Prestressing Forces,

Abstract

The author describes analysis of ferroconcrete L-frames for the effect of prestressing forces. It is assumed that the structure works without cracks. The prestressed reinforcement is treated as ordinary reinforcement, hence the prestressing forces are treated as forces which are constant in time. The calculation is done by the methods of structural mechanics of rod systems, with the derivation and solution of a system of canonical equations. (Author)
