X-Ray and Infrared Spectroscopic Study of Organokaolinite Complexes,

Abstract

The article presents results of an investigation and a method for obtaining complexes of kaolinite with molecules containing various numbers of methyl groups in the aliphatic chains. It was also used to ascertain the character of the distribution of organic molecules in the interlayer space of the kaolinite structure and to establish the nature of their interaction with the mineral surface.
