Question Answering in the CONVERSE System.

Abstract

The report describes procedures and capabilities for English-sentence interrogation of a data base containing information on computer programs used in social-science research. The report illustrates current (October 1972) sentence-understanding capability of the CONVERSE prototype English data management system as available over the ARPA Network. (Author)
