Nondestructive Dynamic Testing of Proposed Radar Sites, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico.

Abstract

Tests were conducted to obtain data pertinent to the elastic characteristics of materials underlying three proposed sites, designated RAMPART, AMRAD, and MIPIR, for radar facilities at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. Seismic tests in the form of refraction and uphole surveys were conducted, as well as vibration tests. (Author)
