Details are given of the NOAA/NESS, Navy, Stanford Research Institue and University of Wisconsin systems. A discussion is included of meteorological applications of cloud console products such as identification of synoptic features and measurement of cloud motion. Design elements of current systems that are needed for a proposed ASL cloud console system for the Direct Readout Ground Station (DRGS) of SMS-GOES are enumerated. (Author)
