Abstract

Volume 2 of a two volume report provides supplementary information concerning the results discussed in Volume I. It covers the several technical disciplines in order to identify the major technological advances that have been made in aviation since 1925, the relevancy of currently planned and funded DoD aeronautical R+D programs to the R+D needs of civil transport aviation.
