Trace Analyses of Human Breath Samples.
Abstract
A series of human breath samples were cryogenically collected to determine trace constituents. Thirteen sets of samples were obtained by direct breathing, and three sets were obtained from an experimental rebreathing system. Gas chromatographic and mass spectrometric analyses identified some 93 compounds and their concentrations. The rebreathing system evidently concentrated some of these constituents. (Author)
