Temperature Sensitivity of Sandwich-Type Wavelength Selective Bolometers,

Abstract

The transient and steady state response characteristics of a particular kind of bolometer are considered. Radiation is absorbed by a selective absorber in contact with a thermistor film. Thermal relaxation takes place partially by conduction in the plane of the structure. The dependence of the performance characteristics on material and geometrical parameters is determined and performance limits are established for these structures. (Author)
