Fluctuation-Induced Diamagnetism in Bulk Al and Al Alloys above the Superconducting Transition Temperature.

Abstract

The authors have made careful measurements of the small fluctuation-induced diamagnetic moment above the superconducting transition temperature T(c) in pure Al and some alloys, with an accuracy of 2 x 10 to the minus 9th power G. The measurements covered a range of magnetic fields from .01 Oe to >100 Oe and temperatures from T(c) to as high as 5K. (Author)
