Advanced High Energy Missile Control Systems,

Abstract

A new type of control concept which utilizes the interaction of an injected fluid with the airstream surrounding the missile to achieve control forces offers much promise to meet the control requirements for advanced ABM interceptors. Three of these advanced control concepts are described in this paper. They are: external burning, jet interaction, reactive jet interaction. (Author)
