The Measurement and Analysis of Fatigue Crack Growth in Thick-Walled Cylinders,

Abstract

The investigation developed an ultrasonic technique to measure crack depth, a locating device and data acquisition system to automatically record findings, and computer programs to analyze and report test results in a useful graphic format. The paper describes and evaluates these three interdependent developments. (Author)
