Theoretical Studies of Solid Surfaces.

Abstract

Presented is the final report for three and one-half years of theoretical study on the physics of solid surfaces. Progress was made in the interpretation of electron diffraction experiments, and in the determination of the electronic charge distribution in the vicinity of a solid surface and its consequences.
