CRT Multichannel Digital-Display Device,
Abstract
The operating principles and structural design of a device for multichannel digital display on cathode ray tubes are presented. The device has 64 channels, a recording cycle time on 1 channel of 0.01 seconds, maximum distance of the displays from the electronic circuitry 15 meters, number of indexed decimal digits 4, and a distance of clear perception of data with illumination of no more than 50 lux of five meters. It uses the 5L038 cathode ray tube. A symbolic schematic of encoding numbers by segments, the time diagram of the segment codes and the block diagram of the device are given. (Author)
