Three-Dimensional Supersonic Detached Currents in Flowing Past Solid and Gaseous Barriers with a Supersonic Stream,

Abstract

Results are presented of the investigation of supersonic flow past solid cylindrical and jet (circular jet) barriers on a plate. It is shown that absence before the jet of a region of very low pressure leads, at identical dimensions of the met and equivalent solid, to absence before the jet of local supersonic zones. (Author)
