Methods for Designing the Electromagnet of a Betatron on an Assigned Value of Intensity of Radiation,

Abstract

A method of calculation is proposed, using a computer, which makes it possible to plan betatrons with assigned values of individual parameters and an optimum combination of all the remaining characteristics of the installation in the energy range of accelerated electrons of 5-50 MeV. This range of energies of accelerated electrons includes practically all the possible cases of use of betatrons which are of practical interest. (Author)
