The Influence of Steam on the Depth of Fusion with Electron-Beam Welding,

Abstract

The interaction of an electron beam with the cloud of steam above a welding pool influences the power characteristics of the process of electron beam welding, and consequently, the geometric parameters of concentrated fusion. In this work an attempt is made to evaluate this influence.
