Research on Plasma Simulation by Computer for Studies of Collisionless Shocks and Plasma Turbulence.
Abstract
The research dealt with the development of numerical techniques for simulating plasmas and the application of these techniques to solve important problems on the nonlinear and turbulent behavior of plasmas. A number of significant problems were solved on the anomalous absorption of intense radiation by plasma, and on the anomalous diffusion of plasma across a magnetic field. (Author)
