Trends in Satellite Geodesy (Entwicklungstendenzen der Satellitengeodaesie),

Abstract

The paper discusses the probability of further developments of satellite geodesy, based on the results achieved so far. An increase in observation accuracy results in an immediate increase in the accuracy of the derived geodetic elements. It also opens new fields for satellite geodesy and forces a proper refinement of the underlying physico-mathematical models. (Author)
