Beryllium Reinforced Metal Matrix Composites Study Program.

Abstract

The program aimed to develop nondestructive inspection techniques for beryllium-titanium composites and to characterize beryllium-titanium composites fabricated by different techniques. The feasibility of producing sheet, tubes, bars and forging preforms of Be/Ti 6Al-4V composite material was demonstrated. (Author)
