Determination of Performance Indicators for the United States Air Force Base Level Transportation Function.

Abstract

The identification of indicators of performance is an important step in the development of a management information system. Some of the performance indicators, as they would apply to the base transportation squadron, are identified in the study. Base transportation officers were surveyed and their responses analyzed to identify indicators that would be appropriate for inclusion in a management information system. Recommendations are presented for further research in the development of a management information system for base transportation officers. (Author)
