Reinforcement of Capronic Bearings in Bearing Shells,
Abstract
Kapron plain bearings in bearing shells secured with 0.05-0.15 mm epoxy glue had 3 times greater bond strength than the pressure fitted bearings. Roughening the kapron surface increased the bond strength. (Author)
