Infrared Absorption of the Hydrosulfide Ion in KBr,

Abstract

Molecular SH(-) ions introduced into the lattices of various alkali-halide crystals (AHC) were investigated in detail in the ultraviolet and visible regions. A characteristic line of the SH(-) and (KBr) ions at 2570/cm was observed in the infrared region. In the report, the author introduces the spectrum of the infrared bandpass and its more detailed analysis. In particular, the phonon wings were first observed. (Author)
