The Relative Orientation of the Coordinate Systems of Fundamental Catalogs,

Abstract

In the literature on astronomy there are often indications that each fundamental catalog defines its own coordinate system in space. In other words, the equators and points of the vernal equinox for the various catalogs do not coincide. The authors propose a method for determining the relative orientation of the coordinate axes of stellar catalogs.
