High Yields of Kraft Pulp from Rapid-Growth Hybrid Poplar Trees.
Abstract
Kraft pulps were made from whole poplars of 1-,3-,5-,11- and 24-year growth rotations. Satisfactory pulps were made from all materials and the presence of bark posed no special problems. Best production was from a rotation of 11 years. (Author)
