Evaluation Tests of a Concrete Mixer of the Turbine Type.
Abstract
The study reported herein evaluates the performance of a Smith concrete mixer in mixing five different concrete mixtures, three of which contained 1-1/2-in., one 3-in., and one 6-in. aggregate. One of the 1-1/2-in. aggregate mixtures had zero slump, while the other two were workable mixtures, one of which contained fly ash as a cement-replacement material.
