Study on Starting Wear of Automobile Engine Parts,

Abstract

The greatest wear of parts is caused by parameters of the operating process. In order to decrease the amount of wear in parts of the cylinder piston group it is necessary to limit the maximum pressure of combustion products which is particularly important during the warm up period with the use of readily inflammable mixtures on an ether base. When determining the amount of water after each start up and warm up period it is necessary to take into account the effect of the running in of parts in the process of a series of repeated short engine runs.
