The Concept of Using Digital Computers for Scientific-Data Activity in the GDR and for Certain Possibilities of International Cooperation,

Abstract

The author considers the problems of creating a national information system based on electronic digital computers and points to the necessity of close cooperation in predicting the use of electronic digital computers. Emphasis is palced on the neccessity of creating experimental systems for selective dissemination of information with recording data on magnetic tape. The author points out that the international cooperation of countries within the framework of the CMEA plays an important role in the solution of the problem of developing information systems.
