Annual Report Fiscal Year 1972,

Abstract

The United States Army Correctional Training Facility continued in its significant role in military corrections during FY 72. Over its four full years of operation, CTF has provided training and Correctional treatment for an offender population exceeding 23,000. Trainee intake for the fiscal year totaled 3,508, representing a decline of 557 (14%) below the previous year. Follow-up statistics reflect an increase of approximately 11% in confirmed arrivals at the next duty station after completion of correctional training. The reduction in trainee intake reflects reduction in the size of the Army, and reduction in the post-trial stockade population throughout the Army. (Author)
