Perforated Working Section for a Wind Tunnel,

Abstract

The perforated working section of a wind tunnel, which contains panels with rows (at distance t from each other) of holes with diameter d, is distinguished by the fact that, for the purpose of reducing the field of the optical instrument, the intensity of the perturbations originating in the punched holes, the holes are arranged at an angle arctg d/t to the light beam of the shadow-indication instrument.
