A Class of Linear Programming Problems in Banach Spaces,

Abstract

A class of infinite dimensional linear programming problems is considered particularly with respect to production-inventory control in continuous time. An example of such an application is given. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solution is given and bounds for solutions are characterized in terms of a duality theorem. (Author)
