Nonlinear Programming in Banach Spaces,

Abstract

A class of infinite dimensional nonlinear programming problems is considered particularly with respect to nonlinear production-inventory control in continuous time. The report is an extension of another report in which the corresponding linear problem is treated. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions is given and bounds for solutions are characterized in terms of a duality theorem. (Author)
