The report describes the llgic used in arriving at a design approach, selection of an amplifier configuration, device selection and the design and fabrication of the final amplifier model. The tests and evaluation of the component parts and the complete module are also extensively reported. The report describes in detail the design and development of a 1:12 power splitter, fabrication of twelve 100 watt amplifiers and a 12:1 power combiner. (Author)
