ROFF - A Manuscript Printing Program: User's Manual

Abstract

The report is intended primarily as a user's manual for the ROFF manuscript printing system. ROFF is a computer program which produces esthetically pleasing manuscripts from punched card source texts. Both microfilm output and the generation of magnetic tape for off line printing on a Magnetic Tape/Selectric Typewriter (MT/ST) are supported. One of the important advantages of the ROFF system is the great ease with which revisions, additions and corrections can be made to draft memorandums and technical papers. The report is itself an example of a ROFF generated manuscript.
