The dynamic performance model is obtained by using the force and rotor aerodynamic equations. This performance model together with the moment balance and control equations are used as a basis for a helicopter control model. This model can be used for over relatively large speed range and varying rotor rpm. As an example, an analog computer simulation is made for a HU-1C helicopter, performing a steep descent maneuver, close to autorotation boundary. (Author)
