Automation of the Input of Written Signs into Electronic Computers (Selected Articles),
Abstract
A method is proposed for structural synthesis of digital computers. The authors obtain microprograms of four types and the algorithmic structure corresponding to them, a description of a microprogramming control device in the language of a finite automation, and a system of Boolean functions which describes all the combination circuits of the digital computer designed. The base structure characterize the general logical structure of the digital computer the basic registers and the combination circuits investigation of the base structure are presented for central data processing computers.
