Physics of Clouds, Precipitation and Artificial Modification. Transactions.

Abstract

The report is a collection of selected articles dealing with investigations into the elementary processes of precipitation particle formation (electrostatic charging of droplets, crystal generation, etc.). Methodological problems relating to radar and aircraft precipitation measurements are discussed. Results are cited of tests involving the manipulation of supercooled clouds and fogs, along with the findings of cloud characteristic studies in the case of active influences of these formations.
