Data Processing Systems for Experiments Flown on the INJUN V, OV3-6 and OVI-15 Satellites.

Abstract

The processing of satellite telemetry data encompasses many programming techniques in the effort to provide the researchers with the experimental results. A Satellite Data Reduction Processor System (SADAR) was developed to provide a general system for retrieval of experimental measurements. The report discusses, in depth, the application of SADAR to the processing of the OV3-6 and OV1-15 experimental data. The system is quite flexible and was designed for adaptation to future satellites. The report also includes a description of the data processing effort for the spherical electrostatic analyzer experiment flown on the INJUN V satellites. (Author)
