Abstract

Studies on the stress corrosion cracking of titanium and its alloys involved the initiation and propagation of cracks in aqueous and organic environments, combined effects of stress and potential. Corrosion processes within crevices, and alloy composition. Straining electrode studies are reported. (Author)
