Theory of Surface Polaritons in Semiconductors.

Abstract

A theoretical discussion is presented of the dispersion curves for surface polaritons associated with surface plasmons and surface magnetoplasmons in semiconductors possessing depletion and accumulation layers. The results indicate how information concerning the thickness and carrier concentration can be derived from experimental data. (Author)
