Primary Irritation Evaluation Program,

Abstract

ENT-70484-X, a candidate repellent, was evaluated on New Zealand white rabbits for its potential to cause skin irritation. The data obtained serve as a basis for making a recommendation concerning its potential use on humans. This recommendation is intended only for guidance in further entomological testing of this compound. ENT-70484-X was found to be irritating to the skin of rabbits and should be resubmitted in the form and at the concentration of its intended use so that its irritation potential can be reexamined.
