A Question of Procedure for Experiment in a Wind Tunnel,

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of correlating wind tunnel test data made at different times in the same tunnel or in several tunnels. The authors made 15 comparative wind tunnel tests of one wing model, in three tunnels. Graphs of the results are provided. With the use of a computer the results can be analyzed in much less time and recommended designs can be suggested on the spot. The method is suggested for use with wind tunnels in industrial enterprises. (Author)
