Nonlinear and Turbulent Wave Phenomena.

Abstract

This Annual Report outlines work on microwave scattering from hydrodynamically induced turbulence in plasma, numerical analysis of nonlinear dispersive systems, scattering techniques for analysis of turbulent systems and use of quasi particle methods in nonlinear wave propagation. This program of research is directed toward analysis of wave propagation in nonlinear turbulent media of finite geometry. (Author)
