Multiplication of Coxsackie Group A Viruses in Human Embryo Lung Diploid Cells

Abstract

The multiplication pattern of coxsackie A viruses in diploid cells, and the dynamics of viral accumulation in the cells and in culture fluid have been studied. The relation of the point at which degeneration begins and the maximum accumulation of the virus to the value of the inoculating dose are discussed.
